NSPYRE’s mission is carried out by implementing activities that are related to its core values of education, prevention, self-discovery, self-awareness and personal growth. To that end, NSPYRE provides essential tools and skills that are necessary for building character, increasing self-esteem, promoting integrity and making informed choices that will ultimately impact one’s entire life.

With an emphasis on abstinence education and early intervention, the possibility of early sexual activity and pregnancy are significantly decreased. Further, the organization works to assist youth with drug abuse prevention and education, and helps youth to appreciate themselves and refrain from self-destructive behaviors.

NSPYRE…Inspiring People to Reach Their Dreams, Inc. is an Atlanta-based 501 (c) 3 nonprofit organization whose mission is to educate and improve the quality of life for young girls, boys and families with special emphasis on pregnancy prevention for teenage girls. The organization was founded and is operated by Chantelle Cotton, a two-time teen mom who has since overcome seemingly insurmountable obstacles. Chantelle has risen above her circumstances, earned a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree, and is now reaching out to others in an effort to keep them from making the same mistakes she made.

In an effort to make the biggest impact on its target audience, NSPYRE challenges young people to improve by hosting an after school program and seminars that are designed to change the mind set from poor self-esteem to excitement for life; from making bad choices to making good ones. All programs created by NSPYRE are designed to foster healthy living and lifestyles, improve the quality of life and to prevent babies from having babies.
